Hoosier Energy IS NOT hiring for entry-level positions at their Merom Generating Station at this time.  However, all future applicants will be required to take the following WorkKeys assessments:

Applied Technology
Observation
Applied Mathematics
Locating Information
Reading For Information

If you would like to complete the assessments prior to the start of the application process, contact WorkOne Linton to schedule testing.
PLEASE NOTE:  Each assessment will last approximately one hour.  If you are not able to take all assessments at one time, please just let us know.  We can schedule the assessments separately.  When testing please indicate that you are testing for Hoosier Energy.

Hoosier Energy will begin the application process for the following positions:

UTILITY OPERATOR, MeromFGD UTILITY OPERATOR, MeromAUXILIARY OPERATOR, Petersburg
--Entry-level positions. 
--Rotating shifts. 40-50 hours per week. 
--Must not be related to any current Hoosier Energy employee.
--High School Diploma or GED is required.
--Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

Will perform assigned tasks and routine procedures involving the operation, inspection, checking, and status / reporting
in and around electrical and mechanical station auxiliary equipment for the purpose of contributing to the overall safe,
continuous & effective operation of the power plant.
